Yesterday evening I spent an hour with my friends Tim and Angela Carr. We took some portraits in the Village of Arroyo Grande to celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary. Congrats you guys.
The Lurkers
It's fun using Mint and GA to see where my blog readers are coming from.
Here's a sampling of the non-ISP networks that have been used to view my blog:
- four points sheraton-ventura
- california state university chico
- broadband - knowsley
- mid state bank
- siena college
- claremont colleges
- pictage
- st. michael s hospital
As much as I wonder who lurks around my blog, it's more fun just guessing sometimes.
NOTE: The first shot is one of my setups. Most shots were taken with my 5D and 100/2.8 macro. I used the 35/1.4 on a few shots, including the overhead basil+tomato shot. Notice my classic Tiltall tripod (I think its older than m e).
Anyone close to me knows I love shooting food more than any other subject. For me, choosing between a platter of fresh sushi and a pretty bride is a no-brainer.
That being said, yesterday was an especially fun day. I had the pleasure of taking on an evening shoot for Scott, a local restaurateur. Very soon, Scott will be creating fresh Italian sandwiches and biscotti for delivery around San Luis Obispo.
I spent a couple hours shooting the product for his menu and website. I'll post a link once his site is live. Until then, here's a preview of some of the product.
Would You ...
Want your website built and/or hosted by a company that:
- Can't get their domain working on their own site?
- Doesn't know the difference between a chat room and a blog?
- Answers support questions in the comments of their blog?
- Can't hit a deadline?
That's ok. Apparently a lot of other people want that too. It's a shame.
I had the most fun 7/7/07 wedding. I'll write more about it later, but for now, here's some images.
Yessssssss!
Test post from the iPhone. I think it worked.
