Taylor livin' it up at our hotel

We're in LA

I took a couple days off and we're down in Los Angeles for some relaxing and shopping (shopping is relaxing?). Tomorrow afternoon Jessica and I fly to Oklahoma.

Last night we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Ventura - it's right on the beach and I believe it used to be a Holiday Inn. Its been given 4 stars, but that might be a little generous. The rooms were decent, but there was plenty of construction going on in the lobby and outside.

Now we're at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, one of my favorite LA hotels.

No waits, private phone line, one ... team member to always be at your beckon call
Why not just treat every customer like this? (by the way, its 'beck and call')

New Mouse

I finally picked up a nice bluetooth mouse today. Call me crazy, but I just can't stand Apple's mice. Perhaps I'm just too used to Wintel peripherals, but I love to, nay, need to right-click.

I've been using my Microsoft wireless notebook mouse and its been great. In fact, its probably the best product (aside from the xbox) that they've slapped their logo on. With my MacBook Pro, I just don't see the logic in plugging in a USB dongle every time I want to use my mouse.

So, I broke down and got myself the Logitech V270 with bluetooth, optical tracking, scroll wheel, and all that jazz. So far, it works and feels nice. I don't like big mice, and this one seems just the right size.

My new mouse

Wait, am I seriously blogging about a mouse? That's just sad.

I hate to admit it, because I am a life long Nikon user and lover, but the Canon glass is just better.

Off to the City

Heading up to the Bay Area this afternoon to catch a little west-coast baseball. The Giants are hosting the Angels tonight - both teams are horrible this year, but it should be fun.

For some reason, I couldn't find a decent hotel in the city. So, we're staying down by the airport. I was hoping to cruise the city for some photo ops Wednesday morning ... we shall see.

It's Official

We launched our new blog service today. To be specific, our service is more like a tumblelog, but to reduce confusion, we'll stick to blog.

Anyway, we're very excited - especially about the image features.

I never envisioned selling such a consumer-focused or horizontal product.
