Having a wife that rarely checks pockets before doing laundry has its pros and cons. The cons, naturally, are that your pens, chapstick, and iPod earbuds occasionally get put through the permanent press cycle.
The pros, on the other hand, are that getting dressed every morning is like playing the lottery. Today I found 6 crisp, clean, fragrant dollars in my Lucky jeans. That can mean only 1 thing - Juanita's tacos for lunch today ... and tomorrow.

Every Sunday I browse the locals ads for OfficeMax, Best Buy, and Staples - looking for any outstanding deals on blank CDs/DVDs and the like.
OfficeMax is having a great sale this week - primarily because all the deals are instant (i.e. no mail-in rebates). Kate has been bugging me for a small camera and I noticed a great price on the Canon PowerShot a620. After reading the great reviews on DPReview, I decided $179 was a great price for a 7MP point and shoot.
I headed over to the store and they only had the demo left in stock. I negotiated my way into a further discount and some extra batteries. So far, the camera has been great.
